It was 3 a.m. I was lying on a sofa bed, trying to nurse my 15-month-old toddler back to sleep. As I watched my husband and older daughter sleeping soundly, I felt completely alone—overwhelmed by exhaustion and frustration. Every part of my body ached, and tears rolled down my cheeks as I grieved the rest I thought I’d lost forever.
Sleep deprivation changed me. I became irritable, struggled at work, and was short-tempered at home. Desperate for a solution, I turned to the internet—and that’s when everything began to shift. By following what I learned, my toddler went from frequent night wakings and all-night latching… to sleeping through the night.
At first, I tried to share my experience with friends, but many couldn’t relate. It wasn’t until I found a community of mothers online, all facing similar struggles, that something clicked:
